Meaning
𑌆𑌨𑌂𑌦-𑌰𑍂𑌪 - Bliss personified; 𑌭𑌗𑌵𑌨𑍍-𑌅𑌯𑌿 - O Lord! Thou; 𑌤𑍇-𑌅𑌵𑌤𑌾𑌰𑍇 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌪𑍍𑌤𑍇 - (when) Thy incarnation approached; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌦𑍀𑌪𑍍𑌤-𑌭𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌅𑌂𑌗- - lustrous Thy body; 𑌨𑌿𑌰𑍀𑌯𑌮𑌾𑌣𑍈𑌃 - emanating; 𑌕𑌾𑌂𑌤𑌿-𑌵𑍍𑌰𑌜𑍈𑌃-𑌇𑌵 - rays of brilliance like; 𑌘𑌨𑌾𑌘𑌨-𑌮𑌂𑌡𑌲𑍈𑌃- - by groups of thick dark clouds; 𑌦𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌮𑍍-𑌆𑌵𑍃𑌣𑍍𑌵𑌤𑍀 - the skies covering; 𑌵𑌿𑌰𑍁𑌰𑍁𑌚𑍇 𑌕𑌿𑌲 𑌵𑌰𑍍𑌷𑌵𑍇𑌲𑌾 - shone indeed the rainy season;

Translation
Thou O Lord! Who are Bliss personified, when the time of Thy incarnation approached, the rainy season indeed shone with the lustre of Thy body, which emanated the blue rays of brilliance on the thick dark clouds that covered the skies.

Meaning
𑌆𑌶𑌾𑌸𑍁 - (when) all the directions; 𑌶𑍀𑌤𑌲𑌤𑌰𑌾𑌸𑍁 - had been cooled well; 𑌪𑌯𑍋𑌦𑌤𑍋𑌯𑍈𑌃- - by the rain waters; 𑌆𑌶𑌾𑌸𑌿𑌤- - what was desired for; 𑌆𑌪𑍍𑌤𑌿-𑌵𑌿𑌵𑌶𑍇𑌷𑍁 - (when) it was got, overwhelmed (by it); 𑌚 𑌸𑌜𑍍𑌜𑌨𑍇𑌷𑍁 - by the good people; 𑌨𑍈𑌶𑌾𑌕𑌰-𑌉𑌦𑌯-𑌵𑌿𑌧𑍌 - and when the moon was rising; 𑌨𑌿𑌶𑌿 𑌮𑌧𑍍𑌯𑌮𑌾𑌯𑌾𑌂 - at midnight; 𑌕𑍍𑌲𑍇𑌶𑌾𑌪𑌹𑌃- 𑌤𑍍𑌰𑌿𑌜𑌗𑌤𑌾𑌂 - the Remover of the sorrows of the three worlds; 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌮𑍍- - Thou; 𑌇𑌹-𑌆𑌵𑌿𑌰𑌾𑌸𑍀𑌃 - here ( on this earth) did appear;

Translation
When all the directions had been well cooled by the rain waters, when the virtuous people were overwhelmed with the joy of the impending fulfillment of their desires, and the moon was rising at midnight, Thou the remover of all sorrows, appeared here on this earth, embodied as Krishna.

𑌬𑌾𑌲𑍍𑌯-𑌸𑍍𑌪𑍃𑌶𑌾-𑌅𑌪𑌿 - though in the form of a child; 𑌵𑌪𑍁𑌷𑌾 - by body; 𑌦𑌧𑍁𑌷𑌾 𑌵𑌿𑌭𑍂𑌤𑍀𑌃- - Thou adorned the divine majesties; 𑌉𑌦𑍍𑌯𑌤𑍍-𑌕𑌿𑌰𑍀𑌟- - shining crown; 𑌕𑌟𑌕-𑌅𑌂𑌗𑌦- - bracelets, shoulder ornaments; 𑌹𑌾𑌰𑍍 𑌭𑌾𑌸𑌾 - beautiful necklace; 𑌶𑌂𑌖-𑌅𑌰𑌿- - conch, discus; 𑌵𑌾𑌰𑌿𑌜-𑌗𑌦𑌾 - lotus mace; 𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌭𑌾𑌸𑌿𑌤𑍇𑌨 𑌮𑍇𑌘𑌾𑌸𑌿𑌤𑍇𑌨 - beautiful like the hue of rain bearing blue clouds; 𑌪𑌰𑌿𑌲𑍇𑌸𑌿𑌥 - Thou shone; 𑌸𑍂𑌤𑌿 𑌗𑍇𑌹𑍇 - in the birth chamber;

Translation
Thou shone in the birth chamber, though in the from of a child, with Thy body adorned with the divine majesties, shining crown, bracelets, shoulder ornaments, beautiful necklace, conch, discus, lotus, mace, beautiful as the hue of the rain bearing clouds.

𑌵𑌕𑍍𑌷𑌃-𑌸𑍍𑌥𑌲𑍀- - on Thy bosom; 𑌸𑍁𑌖-𑌨𑌿𑌲𑍀𑌨- - comfortably resting; 𑌵𑌿𑌲𑌾𑌸𑌿-𑌲𑌕𑍍𑌷𑍍𑌮𑍀- - the glorious Lakshmi; 𑌮𑌂𑌦-𑌅𑌕𑍍𑌷-𑌲𑌕𑍍𑌷𑌿𑌤- - casting with shyful eyes; 𑌕𑌟𑌾𑌕𑍍𑌷-𑌵𑌿𑌮𑍋𑌕𑍍𑌷-𑌭𑍇𑌦𑍈𑌃 - the side-glances glancing; 𑌤𑌤𑍍-𑌮𑌂𑌦𑌿𑌰𑌸𑍍𑌯 - of that house (the prison); 𑌖𑌲-𑌕𑌂𑌸-𑌕𑍃𑌤𑌾𑌮𑍍-𑌅𑌲𑌕𑍍𑌷𑍍𑌮𑍀𑌮𑍍- - the inauspiciousness caused by the evil Kansa; 𑌉𑌨𑍍𑌮𑌾𑌰𑍍𑌜𑌯𑌨𑍍-𑌇𑌵 - dispersing away ,as though; 𑌵𑌿𑌰𑍇𑌜𑌿𑌥 𑌵𑌾𑌸𑍁𑌦𑍇𑌵 - Thou did shine O Vaasudeva!;

Translation
O Vaasudeva! Thou did shine in that prison house with the glorious Lakshmi Devi comfortably resting on Thy bosom. The side glances of varied graces, with shyful eyes, cast by her, dispersed away the inauspiciousness of the prison caused by the wicked Kansa.

𑌶𑍌𑌰𑌿𑌃-𑌤𑍁 - Vasudeva indeed,; 𑌧𑍀𑌰-𑌮𑍁𑌨𑌿-𑌮𑌂𑌡𑌲- - the group of sages; 𑌚𑍇𑌤𑌸𑌃-𑌅𑌪𑌿 - to their minds also; 𑌦𑍂𑌰𑌸𑍍𑌥𑌿𑌤𑌂 - unapproachable; 𑌵𑌪𑍁𑌃-𑌉𑌦𑍀𑌕𑍍𑌷𑍍𑌯 - Thy form, on seeing; 𑌨𑌿𑌜-𑌈𑌕𑍍𑌷𑌣𑌾𑌭𑌾𑌮𑍍 - by his own eyes; 𑌆𑌨𑌂𑌦-𑌵𑌾𑌷𑍍𑌪- - (with) tears of joy; 𑌪𑍁𑌲𑌕-𑌉𑌦𑍍𑌗𑌮- - horripilation; 𑌗𑌦-𑌗𑌦-𑌆𑌰𑍍𑌦𑍍𑌰𑌃- - choked and melting voice; 𑌤𑍁𑌷𑍍𑌟𑌾𑌵 𑌦𑍃𑌷𑍍𑌟𑌿- - sang Thy praises, for the sight (Thou who are); 𑌮𑌕𑌰𑌂𑌦-𑌰𑌸𑌂 𑌭𑌵𑌂𑌤𑌮𑍍 - nectar-like as for the bee.;

Translation
Thy form which is unapproachable to the minds of many aspiring sages, when Vasudeva saw with his own eyes, he had horripilation all over his body, his eyes were full of tears of joy and with a choked and melting voice he sang Thy prises, whose sight is like nectar honey for the bee like eyes.

Thou were praised with prayers for a long time by Vasudeva who was filled with joy, saying that 'O Lord! cut down the creeper of all my sorrows with Thy sharp sword like playful eyes. O Supreme Being! Remove all my sufferings with Thy side glances laden with compassion.'

𑌮𑌾𑌤𑍍𑌰𑌾 𑌚 𑌨𑍇𑌤𑍍𑌰-𑌸𑌲𑌿𑌲- - and by Thy mother's (Devaki), tears; 𑌆𑌸𑍍𑌤𑍃𑌤-𑌗𑌾𑌤𑍍𑌰-𑌵𑌲𑍍𑌯𑌾 - was covered well the body delicate creeper like; 𑌸𑍍𑌤𑍋𑌤𑍍𑌰𑍈𑌃-𑌅𑌭𑌿𑌷𑍍𑌟𑍁𑌤-𑌗𑍁𑌣𑌃 - by hymns (Thee whose) excellences were praised; 𑌕𑌰𑍁𑌣𑌾𑌲𑌯𑌃- 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌮𑍍 - Thou the abode of mercy; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌾𑌚𑍀𑌨-𑌜𑌨𑍍𑌮-𑌯𑍁𑌗𑌲𑌂 - (about) their two previous births; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌤𑌿𑌬𑍋𑌧𑍍𑌯 𑌤𑌾𑌭𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌂 - explained the two of them; 𑌮𑌾𑌤𑍁𑌃-𑌗𑌿𑌰𑌾 𑌦𑌧𑌿𑌥 - at the request of Thy mother assumed; 𑌮𑌾𑌨𑍁𑌷-𑌬𑌾𑌲-𑌵𑍇𑌷𑌮𑍍 - the form of a human child;

Translation
And by Thy mother Devaki's tears whose delicate creeper like body was covered and made wet , Thy excellences were praised by hymns. Thou, the abode of mercy, then explained to them,Thy parents, about their two previous births. Then at the request of Thy mother Devaki, Thou assumed the form of a human infant child.

𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑍇𑌰𑌿𑌤𑌃-𑌤𑌦𑌨𑍁 - by Thee prompted, then; 𑌨𑌂𑌦-𑌤𑌨𑍂𑌜𑌯𑌾 - with the daughter of Nanda; 𑌤𑍇 𑌵𑍍𑌯𑌤𑍍𑌯𑌾𑌸𑌮𑍍-𑌆𑌰𑌚𑌯𑌿𑌤𑍁𑌮𑍍 - Thy inter-exchange to carry out; 𑌸 𑌹𑌿 𑌶𑍂𑌰𑌸𑍂𑌨𑍁𑌃 - indeed, he the son of Shoorasena (Vasudeva); 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌾𑌂 𑌹𑌸𑍍𑌥𑌯𑍋𑌃-𑌅𑌧𑍃𑌤 - Thee in his two hands took; 𑌚𑌿𑌤𑍍𑌤-𑌵𑌿𑌧𑌾𑌰𑍍𑌯𑌮𑍍-𑌆𑌰𑍍𑌯𑍈𑌃- - by the minds of the sages conceivable only (as though); 𑌅𑌂𑌭𑍋𑌰𑍁𑌹-𑌸𑍍𑌥- - on a lotus sitting; 𑌕𑌲-𑌹𑌂𑌸-𑌕𑌿𑌶𑍋𑌰-𑌰𑌮𑍍𑌯𑌮𑍍 - a swan young and beautiful;

Translation
At Thy prompting, in order to bring about Thy inter-exchanging with the daughter of Nanda, the son of Shoorasena Vasudeva took Thee in his two hands. Thou who can only be conceived in the minds of the sages, in Vasudeva's hands looked like an attractive young swan perched on a lotus.

Meaning
𑌜𑌾𑌤𑌾 𑌤𑌦𑌾 - was born then; 𑌪𑌶𑍁𑌪-𑌸𑌦𑍍𑌮𑌨𑌿 - in the house of the cowherd (Nanda); 𑌯𑍋𑌗-𑌨𑌿𑌦𑍍𑌰𑌾 - Yoga-Maayaa; 𑌨𑌿𑌦𑍍𑌰𑌾-𑌵𑌿𑌮𑍁𑌦𑍍𑌰𑌿𑌤𑌮𑍍- - in deep slumber; 𑌅𑌥-𑌅𑌕𑍃𑌤 𑌪𑍌𑌰-𑌲𑍋𑌕𑌮𑍍 - thereafter, caused the people of the region; 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌤𑍍-𑌪𑍍𑌰𑍇𑌰𑌣𑌾𑌤𑍍 - at Thy behest; 𑌕𑌿𑌮𑍍-𑌇𑌵 𑌚𑌿𑌤𑍍𑌰𑌮𑍍- - what is so surprising in this; 𑌅𑌚𑍇𑌤𑌨𑍈𑌃-𑌯𑌤𑍍-𑌦𑍍𑌵𑌾𑌰𑍈𑌃 - when the inanimate doors; 𑌸𑍍𑌵𑌯𑌂 𑌵𑍍𑌯𑌘𑌟𑌿 - opened by themselves; 𑌸𑌂𑌘𑌟𑌿𑌤𑍈𑌃 𑌸𑍁𑌗𑌾𑌢𑌮𑍍 - which were closed very well;

Translation
Thereafter, at Thy behest, Yoga-Maayaa, who was born in the house of Nandagopa, caused all the people in the region to fall into deep slumber. This is not at all surprising, considering that the well locked inanimate doors of the prison opened by themselves.

𑌶𑍇𑌷𑍇𑌣 𑌭𑍂𑌰𑌿-𑌫𑌣-𑌵𑌾𑌰𑌿𑌤 - by Aadi Shesha's many hoods the warded off (waters); 𑌵𑌾𑌰𑌿𑌣𑌾-𑌅𑌥 𑌸𑍍𑌵𑍈𑌰𑌮𑍍 - the waters then comfortably; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌦𑌰𑍍𑌶𑌿𑌤-𑌪𑌥𑌃 - led along the way; 𑌮𑌣𑌿-𑌦𑍀𑌪𑌿𑌤𑍇𑌨 - enlightened by the gems (on the hood of Aadi Shesha); 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌾𑌂 𑌧𑌾𑌰𑌯𑌨𑍍 - carrying Thee; 𑌸 𑌖𑌲𑍁 𑌧𑌨𑍍𑌯𑌤𑌮𑌃 - indeed he the most blessed one; 𑌪𑍍𑌰𑌤𑌸𑍍𑌥𑍇 - set out; 𑌸𑌃-𑌅𑌯𑌂 𑌤𑍍𑌵𑌮𑍍-𑌈𑌶 - That This Thou O Lord!; 𑌮𑌮 𑌨𑌾𑌶𑌯 𑌰𑍋𑌗𑌾-𑌵𑍇𑌗𑌾𑌨𑍍 - eradicate the force of my ailments;

Translation
He, Vasudeva, the most blessed one set out carrying Thee in his hands. Aadi Shesha with his many hoods warded off the rain waters and led along the way by him with the gems on his hood s enlightening the way. O Lord! Of such exceeding prowess deign to save me from my forceful ailments.
